Python in the Browser isn’t just cool because… well, it’s the Browser! It hides fantastic surprises that transform how we think about scalability, infrastructure, and AI delivery. Come discover the unexpected advantages and have fun exploring this marvelous new world!
When you first hear about running Python in the browser, you might think ‘neat trick’ - but you’d be missing something revolutionary. This talk peels back the layers to reveal how PyScript is fundamentally changing the game for Python developers in surprising and powerful ways. We’ll explore how browser-based Python eliminates some traditional deployment headaches, turning complex applications into instantly shareable URLs. You’ll discover how this approach scales automatically by leveraging user devices, drastically reducing infrastructure costs and complexity. We’ll demonstrate how this enables AI model deployment without wrestling with server configurations or worrying about compute resources. Through live examples and real-world cases, we’ll showcase:
How to transform a local Python application into a globally accessible solution in minutes Why browser-based computation is a game-changer for scalability The unexpected advantages for AI/ML deployment When you first hear about running Python in the browser, you might think ‘neat trick’ - but you’d be missing some incredible surprises along the way. This talk peels back the layers to reveal how PyScript is fundamentally changing the game for many Python developers in surprising and powerful ways.
